A sixth person has been detained by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) for investigations into alleged fraudulent claims in the supply of geotube for Sungai Melaka.
According to a source, the 48-year-old man was arrested at his home in Johor Baru at 4pm Thursday.
The source said the suspect was a quantitative surveyor in a company owned by the Tan Sri who was detained on Wednesday over claims of nearly RM13mil to the Drainage and Irrigation Department (DID).
“Investigations revealed the suspect stopped working with the company in 2014,” the source told Bernama.
