Some individuals, including suspects and corruption convicts, who are currently being detained by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) are scheduled to vote at the commission headquarters in Kuningan, South Jakarta.
The individuals were Jakarta residents who would otherwise have voted at polling station No. 19 in Setiabudi, Central Jakarta, as they had been registered there, but the KPK arranged for these people to vote at the KPK building instead.
There was no official statement from the KPK as to why the individuals, 13 of them, would vote at the commission office.
According to information from the KPK, the individuals include former Jakarta councilor Muhammad Sanusi, who had been sentenced to seven years behind bars for corruption related to a reclamation project in Jakarta Bay.
